The Cotswolds 3 Counties TVR meet. Its on Wednesday, the details are in my email at work...typical.

I think its Martvr that arranges it. Oh and M@H knows the details as well.

Oops, sorry folks, missed the thread. Have been pre-occupied, focussed on pies and beaches and picking up the new toy (traitor?) tomorrow.

We would be mortally wounded if you and Roop were not able to make it this Wednesday Claire . Put together a little newsmail which I'll send on to you when I get home tonight. Guess Roop is driving if you're

JSG - Wednesday is one of our two monthly meets in a pub near Tewkesbury. From your profile it may be a little far for you but you would be very welcome if you wanted to come. Drop me a note if you want directions and I'll copy an e mail to you from home.

Cheers,

Martin.

I know this is going to sound daft - but what should I wear..?

Is it jeans and top or full makeup and black trousers...?

I really can't belive I am asking this.

Jarrett, e mail sent.

Gaffer, I can't believe I'm answering either . Informal is the norm, anything you feel comfortable in. I suspect you will attract enough attention with your TVR background without resort to the application of other more subtle techniques .

Jarrett,

I've received a 'mail delivery failed' for your message so if you are none the wiser about Wednesday's meet, drop me an e mail via my profile and I'll send the info direct.

Martin.

Martvr,

The info arrived fine but I am afraid that I was playing with the companies E2K server connector before it downloaded it and it had a paddy. Subsequently it NDR'd everything waiting in the queue.

Can you send it to me again. I'll wait for it to arrive before sorting the bloody connector out!

Thanks a lot.

Claire - I think you really ought to wear a top with black trousers. Its the cars that are topless. Confusing I know.

Well, it was nice to meet some new faces this evening especially Martvr, Roop and Gaffer.

Roop - nice exit, anybody would have thought that you were driving a TVR, except none of us would have risked the paint damage!!!!!

Gaffer - next round is on me. I hope that we can talk more next time. Let me know when you are next attending.

Martvr - Nice car! Will try to have a better look next time. Have fun running it in!

Yea - it was good to meet everyone - well the PH table at least.

Next time I will try not to talk so much.

See you all next time.

'Twas fun and I enjoyed myself. Great to meet loads of new people and PH'ers alike. Heh, couldn't resist lighting it up out of the car park. I need new tyres now...! Ah well.

Likewise, it was good to see some new faces for us as well. Maybe shouldn't form a PH splinter group so obviously (but it was interesting ), particularly the bit about hanging on during the test drive sat on a cushion. Be very pleased to see you all again - and caro and caro's sister and even M@H although the latter doesn't have quite the same attraction ( perhaps you could send Holly instead). Car will be run-in soon so I might even offer the opportunity to witness a different sort of noise to the TVR experience, this one is more the frequent venting of unwanted pent up wind .

So as to avoid confusion, our next meet which is due for the last Sunday of the month (29th) will not be at the Edgemoor Inn. For this month only we will meet at the bar (where else?) by the footbridge at Prescott to watch the hillclimb. All welcome so pray for good weather.

Sorry I couldn't make it to this, and can't do the 29th either, shame as I haven't been to a Prescott Hill climb in years, but will try to make a future meet, honest!
