Went to see the Eaves play last night at the Islington Carling Academy Bar, featuring our very own PH drummer Popov123.
Excellent gig, really good tight set. Sorry we had to shoot straight of as you finished.
Anyone who didn't go missed a really good night out. If you get a chance to go and catch them live, do so, you won't regret it, the album doesn't do them justice (IMHO)
Good to put some faces to the names, Rico, Popov etc

Good to meet you, and Wedge Girl and Hugh (plus friend) and Rico (plus friend) and ??????? there was another couple that introduced themselves at the end of the night and I cant remember for the life of me what your names are!!?
Thanks for your support, I hope you enjoyed the night at least half as much as we did! It was made all the better with the support of you folks!!!

Ahaaaa - just seen the thread that Rico started yesterday - mystery person must have been Jon (bigandclever)! Good to meet you and the Mrs mate!
Quickly listened to the MP3s on the Ace Fu site -- something of Broadcast (bearable-ish) meets Interpol (god-awful) to them. Not my cup of tea. (Not that I've particularly into music.) I ordered a CD from Ace Fu once and it took literally months to arrive (An Albatross -- pretty awful) . . . just a pointless aside for you.

Sorry you missed your train hugh!!! Nightmare!
We are going to be making much more effort to get gigs around the country so hopefully we can see a few more of you guys at a venue near you soon
I guess we'll be in London a few times (as is the done thing for the unsigned bands), so I will keep updating as and when anything is booked!
