Recommend some ridgid quality glass frames

Had a recent eye test and a prescription for varifocals, and boy what a difference.

All the frames the Optician showed me were either stupidly flimsy or more suited to a Gangsta or street pharmacist than an ageing fat B'stard like me. I'm very hard on glasses with a unmatched history of breaking, scratching or loosing chap reading ones so I'm after something that'll withstand a lot of outdoorsy and sailing action and not fall off.
