Has anyone got any pictures of a car, preferably black with chrome bumpers running the 70s style black and silver mirrorline engraved numberplates? Thinking of a set for my car but none of the makers have a visualiser

Let's face it. No other style suits your car better.

Well it's either that or the pressed metal black and silver. I think you are right but I want to see a set close up before I spend £80 on a set of plates I might hate

Indeed hehe but neither of those pictures are really good enough. The pink Jag is closest to a good look but the definition is terrible so it doesn't really look mirrorline

This any help Craig...? Dark green not black but you get the idea...I know these plates aren't strictly engraved / mirror line but the reflective digits are similar...

I think these will look much better on your car than pressed alloy jobs.

Yeah I think a set of mirrorline it is then
There appears to be two styles though
One where the engraving follows the letter
One where the engraving is just horizontal stripes

You won't regret it, it'll be worth the outlay.
