Removing number plate
Discussion
When I changed the number plates on my car I lazilly used sticky pads from Halfords....
I now want to take the plates off the car, and they feel like they are stuck on with superglue.....
Any ideas on how to get them off.... especialy the rear one as it is nearly impossible to get a grip on it cos of the recess

As suggested above, a length of fishing line, thin wire, or dental floss, passed around the end of the number plate and used in a sawing action across the back of the number plate should cut the foam pads quite easily without damaging the paintwork.
Use some white spirit or meths to remove the remains of the sticky pads.
