1960 GMC pick up with LPG converted Chevy 350 V8, should I?
Discussion
Wife has always wanted a Chevy Apache, found a GMC locally, 1960 step side with Chevy 350 V8. Seems ok at first quick viewing. Brakes upgraded, power rack lots of positives. Been in uk for nearly 10yrs so plenty of online MOTs to view and nothing too scary there. One concern is it has an LPG conversion. Any experience of
a) The reliability and risks of lpg on this engine.
b) How easy is removal of an LPG system and possible cost implications.
c) Any general information and personal experience of buying C10's of this vintage.

If in doubt I'd get a proper LPG centre to have a look at the system, they should be able to fit a flashlube system as well.
Worst case if you need to remove it, you'd need a new inlet manifold as the original would've been butchered. Best to get an LPG centre to drain the system down then remove - I'm sure someone would buy it as a complete kit.
ETA: 1960s? Does it use a carb rather than FI? If carb then it'd be even easier.
