Possession by lender

Just curious, if 2nd charge lender took possession, would Stamp Duty be payable ?

Or If any lender takes you to court for non payment, would anyone pay Stamp Duty, and is property then in name of lender at Land Registry ?

SDLT is payable on purchases, so no it is not payable on repossessions.
