eBay bike Sale - is someone trying to Scam me?

I have a bike up for sale on eBay, I may be being a little paranoid but over the weekend I received some reasonable offers (read: not stupidly low to ignore, but enough to go back with counter offers) on the bike, I got into conversation with the first offerer who started requesting that I send some images through whatsapp, I have 12 images on the listing which show pretty much everything about the bike, when I asked what images he would like specifically he just asked for the same ones as the listing, nothing specific but claimed that he wanted better resolution images than eBay offered...I didn't bother sending anything.
Last night, I received 2 further offers from 2 separate bidders, the first was located in the same Postcode area as the first offerer, the second was located elsewhere but the account name, related to the Christian name given to me from the first offerer - both of these accounts appeared to be relatively inactive for a period of time with only a couple of recent feedbacks...
Am I just being paranoid, what are they going to achieve by sending in these offers?

Images on eBay are massively compressed and will hide any detail - it seems like a reasonable request before he jumps in the car and drives down!
How can you be scammed? You send pictures, he decides to come and get the bike, you take cash off him...
Id only do cash on collection for these types of transaction plus dont let him test ride the bike without taking the cash as a deposit!!!

Rubbish... whats going to happen? The buyer wants more information before purchasing... give him the information or wait for another buyer who doesn't want it.
Host better quality images on the web and give him links...
Speak on the phone, get his email address and send pictures across...

Personally I would have just emailed some better res pictures, I dont whataapp strangers
Agree with above about outside of email, I can understand why some people want better quality pics, I often ask for them to zoom in to check spec and model numbers
Unless it is worth mega money, not much can go wrong with cash on collection, unless they actually rob you!!

I hadn't thought about what personal details would potentially be available through Whatsapp, my concern was that they maybe wanting the images to go and advertise the bike elsewhere to Scam an unsuspecting buyer... but then what would stop them right clicking and downloading low res images from eBay to do this?
I would have understood it more if they had asked for specific photos, not just what ever I have.
