I've been buying low quantities of toilet roll (packs of 3 at a time) and trying different brands etc out.
My fave is cushell.
What's everyone's fave TP here?

It's 2017. Shouldn't we be embracing multiculturalism and using our hands?

Obviously I can't speak for the OP's sexual peccadilloes, but my anal ring has not been so utterly abused that I can feel much difference! biggrin

I once knew an old chap who only used old newspapers and never bought a bog roll in his life.

that's crazy, though he probably would be dizzy at the advancements of toilet paper technology

We use Tesco's own, can't remember the name of it but 9 rolls for £2! Bargain hoop polishing.

Prior to this we used the posher thicker quilted stuff, until it blocked the toilet......being shoulder deep in a waste pipe is not an experience I would like to repeat.

My granddad used to line the bog with newspaper before he started. Stopped splashback, he claimed.

My Granddad used to keep neatly cut squares of newspaper on a rusty nail poking out of the wall for wiping, they used to leave a black newsprint skid mark which permanently died the crack of your white Y fronts a sort of off grey colour which never washed out.

I'm a Costco Velvet man myself; nothing makes you feel more manly than buying a 56-pack of disposable jobbie-rags, 20 litres of washer fluid and 105x AA Batteries in one go.

My best friend is, to put it mildly, tight AF, and the last time I was round to his he had found some of that grease-proof paper-like toilet paper that you used to get in schools. He was dead chuffed as he got a seemingly endless supply of it for a few quid. It was truly horrid to use hurl

I thought exactly the same as you when I read the OP, you beat me too it! smile

I had a Viz annual with a spoof computer magazine "front page" ad too, something about "she's only five and has already forgot more than you'll ever know" and "why don't you just put the kettle on" ..... one of the best Viz spoof adverts I've seen. Sadly I've lost the annual frown
