Anyone got any idea as to why this flight, East Midlands to Palma, squawked a General Emergency & diverted to Gatwick?

Appears to be safely on the ground so was just interested to why the divert.

A spokesperson for Thomson said: "We would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused to customers travelling on flight TOM7118 from East Midlands to Majorca, due to the aircraft needing to divert to Gatwick as a result of a medical emergency.
