Been invited to the Eng vs SA on Saturday 5th Aug.

Been instructed that one should get dressed up in fancy dress, and it is generally expected. Is it?

I've been to the cricket, various tests, ashes, etc. and 20/20, and always thought fancy dress... if anything is for the 20/20 no?

But think out of the box a little. Going as your run of the mill superhero would see you looking a bit....boring.

Drag might work. Or perhaps something to do with the hosts - Nelson Mandela? A male lion?

I have always been a bit cool on fancy dress as a thing - its all a bit enforced fun for my tastes and people end up -weirdly - taking it far too seriously.

But each to their own and all that!

You don’t have to dress up infact over the years I have seen less and less dressing up at Old Trafford.
