996 C4S 'S' Badge

While washing the car tonight I managed to snag the long bit of the rear 'S' badge with the microfibre cloth and snapped the tip off of the damn thing!

A quick Google and it looks like Design911 are the only ones to sell a replacement, for £45 delivered! Before I begrudgingly hand over 45 notes for a tiny bit of plastic, are there any alternatives??

I did exactly the same about 2 years ago. Pretty sure I got the replacement from 911Design, as the only other place I found was direct from Porsche. Fitting was pretty straight forward though.
