Any one looked at the ignition module relocation kits that are being sold on fleabay? Is there any advantage to doing that? Other than cooler and less vibration. Is the failure rate high enough to worry about that?
I've had three fail in as many years.i managed to find some old stock genuine Lucas ones which so far are behaving. I think it's down to cheap imports.
I had a couple of cheap amps fail so fitted the Lucas relocation kit about three years ago. No problems since though I'm not sure if it's because it's a Lucas one or because it hasn't had any coolant drip on it.
