Wing Mirror's

Probably a bit of a long shot, but does anybody know if the pod style wing mirror's as fitted to latter 350i's etc, will fit a 1980 series 1 Tasmin?

Heaven only knows! I need a mirror for the n/s door, it has a plinth, but appears never to have been fitted with a mirror and I have never seen one to match the driver's door mirror
