Having enquired for a price for these splitters for my 2009 DBS from a main dealer and having a funny turn when being told the price, are there any other places that are worth trying for these parts at all? I saw some on eBay a while ago that were being sold by an overseas seller but was a bit dubious as they were not advertised as genuine parts and when I enquired I never received a reply.

Thanks
Steve

That's great. Thanks very much Nick just what I was looking for and I will be ringing them tomorrow morning to a order a set and might as well order a set of mirror caps while I am at it lol.

Has anyone used any of their products on their own cars. They look good quality.

Did Tony Hall have a spare set from when he sold his DBS or have I mis-remembered?

Wish I'd known about this company sooner. Thanks for sharing Nick - no doubt will need them in the future.

Are these splitters quite easy to fit or is it a case of having to remove the front bumper to get at them? I would prefer to have a go at fitting them myself but not if it will be too involved.

I'm fairly sure they are just bolted on.

Well after a nice conversation with John this morning I have now ordered a set of his splitters and mirror caps.
What a helpful guy John is and I would certainly recommend him to others. Now that I know about his company I can see a few more other carbon parts being added to my car in the future.

When I had a good look at how they mount, while the horizontal holes are retained by bolts from underneath, it certainly appears that the front bumper needs to be removed to access the attaching bolts for the vertical holes. Since I wasn't prepared to do that, I gave up in my attempt to remove them. Are detailed instructions provided with the parts?

I also saw that that website also has V12V parts...

but not a carbon splitter, which I heard from the dealer was 4,000 euros...

No need. It's pretty easy. You'll lose a bit of knuckle skin getting the clips off is all.
Give us a call in the morning and we'll let you know the easiest way to lose said skin. wink

Hi,

Has anyone fitted their rear diffuser for a V8V and if so, is it a rear bumper off jobbie to fit or can one fit it with the bumper in place?

Thanks 😎

Losing skin??? You never said anything about losing skin John. Maybe get the wife to grovel underneath and fight with the clips then as my skin is FAR to valuable to lose lol. rolleyes

My carbon front splitters and door mirror caps arrived today after only ordering the parts on Thursday morning. They are really excellent quality indeed and I would certainly recommend John's products to fellow Aston owners.
As my car was registered in October 2009 I ordered the pre 2010 mirror caps but guess What? My mirrors turn out to be "post" 2010 so of course do not fit so they will have to be returned and the correct mirror caps ordered for my car.
I know that these post 2010 door mirrors were not fitted at a later date to my car so they must have been fitted by the factory when it was built. Has anyone else come across this at all?

How bad are the damaged ones? We deal with a company that can repair carbon very cost effectively. They cannot restore the weave if has been damaged, but once the lacquer is on it is very hard to tell on a splitter from standing height. Might be worth getting them repaired as spares, let me know if its of interest and I will send details.
