Been to a few games, currently watching Notts v Leic - can't find out why they play a short loud jingle around 15-16 overs in each innings, audience cheers it, it's when the ball is dead so nothing obvious going on. (It's not the t shirts). Commentators ignore it.

Can someone put me out of my misery?

It originates from the IPL, but unsure why. Google seems to think it relates to get the crowd involved in the game.

what he said. its from the ipl

also fairly certain it was at international rugby games, french or Italian before the ipl.

Apparently its actually part of a Spanish song, but your right I have heard at the rugby i think.
