Does anyone know where the bonnet cable comes from? Is it a Land Rover Defender cable as seem very similar.

Thanks

Why not just order one from TVR Parts?

They aren't expensive at £18 before discount and carriage.

I've just bought one from TVR Parts. The difference between the one you have linked to and the one I got is that mine came with ferrules and barrel adjusters and a screw on stop fitted at the end of the cable.

OK you could just use the ones already on the car, but mine were pretty knackered, so replacing them was a good idea. If the cable hardware fails, getting the bonnet open is going to be a bit tricky, so better safe than sorry in my book.

Hey that was the cable I was thinking of, I know TVR parts cable isn't too expensive but rebuild project is costing more than expected so any worth while savings with no TVR tax is needed.

Any good alternative options of parts I find I am planning to document and share at some point...

Absolutely agree. We really could do with an up to date list. thumbup
