I have been interested in buying my next car for a while, basically I would like a car preferably a coupe or hatchback, i do want to customise my car to a point, i would like a car that follow these criteria if possible i have been searching but cant really come to a decision i was thinking a vuaxhall astra gtc, but any recommendations would be appreciated.
1. relatively cheap to run.
2.relatively cheap insurance.
3. upgrade options such as performance and aesthetics (an easier car to upgrade)
4. 1.4 litre or 1.6 max
5. coupe of hatchback
my budget on the car is £9000 thanks for taking the time to read and Im 22 by the way for the insurance purposes.

2015 1.6 Megane Coupe Dynamique they come loaded with standard kit plus you'll be able to upgrade it as & when you wish with Megane RS bits.

Not a coupe but you can still do some work to these, it'll be different but look at the kit you get plus it's not a bad looking car.

Kia Pro Ceed GT Check insurance but they do come in quite low for a hot hatch.
