I'm looking to buy a low mileage car. Have seen a cat c zafira 15 plate v low mileage. Any ideas what sort of damage would have warranted cat c status? Dealer has no report

Enough to deem it uneconomical to repair.

Which is often the engineer's judgement, which you find can differ day to day.

Dealer not wanting to disclose the mangled mess it was.

It's low mileage because it sat in a yard for 6 months waiting repairs.

Look elsewhere is my advice.

There's 1000s for sale.

If you can't find out info on its repairs/damage then I'd never touch a cat c (unless its in the sun 1k Price range)
