AUDI A4 Avant 2.0 tfsi any issues?
Discussion
I am looking at a family kind of car which has a good boot space and was considering a 2007 Audi A4 Avant 2.0 tfsi. That's the b7 engine I think.
Has anyone had any issues major from ownership?
I've seen a 2007, 69k miles one for 5.5k. Does this sound reasonable and what should I look for at a visit other than the usual
Thanks

There can be issues with the oil pump and coking up.
DV, Fuel cam follower and PCV valve should be renewed to ensure they are the latest version. Cambelt is every 4 years
We have the B7 saloon it averages 40mpg on a run and just under 30 on short trips. Ours is the multitronic, I paid £2650 for ours, I've replaced the brakes all round, sold the crappy replicas and put 17's on with good tyres. Its on 113k/2006 and is our 3rd car. Its not the best thing in the world to drive, its quite and well built though.

I am aiming to only do about 5k miles a year, does this engine seem exsessive as I'm guessing fuel economy will be around 30mpg on short runs. Sounds a good car though
This one for example

Its missing the battery cover at the back of the engine bay, although so is ours, check the passenger floor for dampness, the drain holes get blocked under the battery and water floods the footwell. The convenience module sits in a well and it gets flooded. Check all of the doors lock and unlock as well as the windows.
Multitronic box should have the oil changed at 40k, make sure it changes gear without clunks and bangs and see what date the cambelt was changed. The rear passenger door looks like its been painted given the difference in colour.
