It's out 7 year wedding anniversary in a few weeks and I'm trying to track down some 1p coins from specific years to make something for the good lady.

We've got a coin jar and I've managed to find one of the years in there, but the rest are elusive. My GoogleFu is also letting me down with this and I can only seem to find super-expensive coins from the years, but I only want 1p's! I'm going to pop to the bank later on to see if they could help, but given the cashiers tend to feel aggrieved when you try to do the most basic of banking tasks, I'm highly doubtful they will take too kindly to such a specific question!

Any ideas? I'm after 1982&3, 2002,3,6,10 and 13.

No, as all the dates are post decimalisation.

Probably not, given the date of Decimalisation, and the production dates of the 1P coins the OP needs. *quickly scans for parrot*

If you could live without a couple of the 1983 ones, I would be forever grateful for them! Please PM me if that's OK smile

I thought you were taking the piss and then I found this. It says 3,498 sold, that's over 6k (incl postage) selling 35quid's worth of fking uncleaned, still-in-circulation pennies to internet people. The mind boggles laugh

Who the f*ck spends £1.79 on a normal 1p coin?

Seriously, that's just mental.

I'm doing something similar for the wife.

I need a £10 note from 2002, one from 2010 & one from 2016.

I'd also need a £50 note from 2013 & 2012

& x 4 £5 notes from this year.

Many thanks if anyone can help.

yes I'm still after a 1982 and a 1983 at the moment. Been working away for a few days so haven't had chance to try the good idea about the penny arcade yet though, but if you had either of those years, would be amazing!

Just for the record, this wasn't a veiled attempt to extort money biggrin (that's just a happy side effect wink)
