Champion race winning car now a road car :-) - my Caterham 7

I bought a rare Caterham 7 Superlight last year with the intention of restoring the car as it left the factory but after driving the car back there were issues with car, overheating, starting issues .... I asked a 'respected' Caterham specialist to take a look and fix the problems. Four months on I still didn't have my Superlight so I decided I buy another 7.
So this is all about my other 7 . I will do a write up on the Superlight when I get it back, my experiences with using a respected Caterham specialist from the very first day, to sort out the issues . How a simple request to renew a couple of Rivnuts cost me £35.... but that's all another story and a lesson for Caterham owners.
So back to my 'other 7'. Having my garage empty I came across what I thought was a typical Caterham Academy race car - 1.6 K series engine, one seat, driver aero screen, full race cage, master cut off switch etc etc. It was being sold by a Caterham racer five miles from my house so off I went to have a look at the car.
The 7 raced in the Caterham Graduates series and to be honest that was all I really knew when I saw the ad. for the car. It was a honest straight racer that won a Championship, had great service history and was well looked after by Ben Rockey of Rockey Racing The rear wings were patched up with Gaffa tape, and being a race car there was only one seat, drivers aero screen, full race cage and the exhaust had surface rust but it was road legal and MOTed .
I thought it would make a nice little project to convert to a road car whilst the Superlight was away and bought the car.

My 7 in action - In it's competitive life in 2013 Dylan Stanley achieved 10 firsts and 2 seconds, getting pole and setting fastest laps in the 14 races he entered - he won the Championship. Martin Kay raced the car in 2014/2015 . Martin came 1st in Rockingham, Spa, Anglesey and Pembrey and came 2nd in the Championships in 2014. In 2015 Martin won at Donnington, Zandvort and Thruxton coming 2nd in the championships. There's some great HD video on the net. The car has been meticulously maintained by Ben Rockey at Rockey Racing
So the car arrived back home. Cosmetically it looked a typical Caterham race car. The rear fibreglass wings were taped up with gaffa tape. Came with 1 Tillet seat, seatbelt, full cage wasn't aware of any history, single aeroscreen, a couple of carbon effect doors and that's it.
The decision was to convert the race car to a road car, add another seat, seat belts,, full width aeroscreen and carpets. Sort out the fibreglass .
