There is an Annual Car display at Goodwood House tomorrow afternoon for the GRRC Members.

I've never been before and was wondering if anyone knew where the entrance to Goodwood House is, more specifically, the Ballroom Car Park?

Thanks in advance!

Drive past the circuit on your left, straight over the roundabout, South Lodge is on your right after 500 yards. Drive past the house and the ballroom car park is on your left, but there will be stewards directing in any case.

Note you need a GRRC windscreen sticker (that isn't sticky...) or a pass to get in this year, I believe.

That's correct, it's a GRRC display for members and their guests.

Thank you for your speedy replies!

Despite being a member for four years now, I've never been! I have my windscreen sticky-less sticker in all the time,

It's a great event - https://www.goodwood.com/sports/motorsport/grrc-me...

This year, for the first time, you'll either need your GRRC windscreen sticker or a form provided by a GRRC member who's inviting you - ie attendees to the breakfast club won't be able to just rock up if they know the event is on, they'll need an invitation.

I've not managed to make it to this event over the years so looking forward to it. Will be my sons first trip to goodwood so hope he enjoys it! Will be in the family car rather than the fun cars which is the only downside.

Could just be me being churlish, but the gate check was pretty cursory and there seems to be a huge chav element here ....

You're being churlish. I see no chavs from my seat. You don't have to be a member if you don't like it after all.

The gate check was definetley happening at 1215 the lady nearly turned me around until I pointed to my sticker on the opposite side of the car.

I saw no chav element whatsoever. What I saw is a lot of families enjoying the day, slightly disappointed of the winning Aston, an amazing car but against some strong competition.

Personally I think everyone should have voted for the fire tow truck just to see how they’d fit that in the RAC club lobby.

Thank you for that escrobin, maybe I just saw it differently to you. And certainly the black Range Rover that barged into the queue in front of me having come in from the East gate wasn't checked .....

First time going today and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I am only 22 and was on my own but still really enjoyed it and saw some pretty amazing cars, the car park took a while to peruse too!

They were still letting people in without tickets as two lads in front of me were told that they could come in this time but future meeting would be ticket (printout) only.

If it’s the same black Range Rover it was there with a convertible RR, MX5 and convertible R8 (the one that booted it through the estate during his lordships speech)
