Vintage headlamps wanted
Discussion
Long shot but I am looking for two Lucas headlamps for my 1928 car. They measure across the external rim 8" and are the type fitted to a stand-up bolt to the cross bar in front of the radiator. If you should have any old lamps in the back of the garage that fit the bill perhaps you will dig them out and contact me.
My present headlamps have been ruined by modernisation
Thanks

Always plenty of headlamps for sale on EBay. Just search for "vintage headlamps" and you'll usually find something interesting.
Alternatively these chaps offer a good selection of correctly made replacements. At a price.

Wether I can fit the parts into the existing shells is doubtful it will be easier to purchase replacements, if I can find the correct Have you tried this place ?

Makes perfect sense, not in any hurry and I have never been to the autojumble before. Now I've the perfect excuse.
We've got a stall there again this year, best go down for the weekend, it's huge! We worth it though, it always used to be said that if you couldn't find it at Beaulieu, it couldn't be found!Makes perfect sense, not in any hurry and I have never been to the autojumble before. Now I've the perfect excuse.
