River Cottage FESTIVAL...any good?
Discussion
I'm going to be in Lyme Regis with the family on the run up to the August bank holiday at a sailing competition, unfortunately we have to vacate our accommodation on the Friday, so we're thinking of staying a bit longer and going to the River Cottage Festival up the road.
Has anyone been? Is it any good? Can't really find many reviews for the Festival itself apart from one very poor one.
Just to re-iterate, I'm talking about the FESTIVAL here, not just River Cottage in general. I'm slightly put off by the fact that I can't camp next to my vehicle (seeing endless trips back and forth here with tents, gear and stuff for the little one (20m old), and the "sorry, fire risk, no stoves" seems like a thinly disguised "buy our food" ploy...
Thoughts?
