Cosmoteer - Simcity meets spaceships

I've been having a lot of fun the last few evenings with this. It is currently free to download and play, but eventually will become a paid for game. It is bit like Simcity 2000 crossed with space battles.

It is a top down spaceship builder which has you design and build your ship fitting it out with cannons, phasers, missile, shields, crew, thrusters, missile defences, armour and reactors etc. You need to manage your power and crew levels, plan poorly and thrusters can stop working or there may not be crew in the right parts of the ship to reload the missiles or shields may power down at the wrong moment. Poor placement of missiles launchers, ammo racks and reactors can result in their rapid detonations that can cause chain reactions and fire to spread throughout your ship!
