DPF Pressure Sensor help
Discussion
Hi everyone, newbie here looking for some advice.
Recently had an issue with a choked DPF filter on my 2007 Nissan qashqai. After taking it to a garage who had the software to run a forced regen they came back and said they couldnt get it cleared. They said they disconnected the pressure sensor hoses and checked the tapping were clear. Recommend a new dpf is fitted.
Anyway I got home and a new fault code had appeared that wasnt there when I gave the car to them P2453 which refers to the dpf pressure sensor being out of range.
Decided to have a look myself, unfortunately I dont have any diagnostics tools only a OBDII scanner. I think they might have connected up the pressure sensor tubes the wrong way round. Here is the sensor im talking about (fairly standard)

Can anyone tell me if the DPF inlet should be connected to the bigger of the 2 ports. Might seem like a daft request but didnt think much of the guys at the garage and this is really doing my head in trying to get it sorted.
Cheers,
