Hi All,

Can anyone tell me what Pete Wheeler is up to these days?
Is he still acting as a 'consultant' for TVR or is he now fishing or working in a chip shop?

Gooo on Ted....do it...do it.

Back on topic....last yr while @ Thruxton when I asked if it was golf or gardening he replied "No, I like shooting"....(who I didn't ask !)

Obviously thats a summer thing...in the winter I dunno.

There was a rumour that he was he was going to race a Mustang....but that has now changed as there's another that he bought an Aston.

Evo stated that he'd bought a second hand Vauxhaul Signum IIRC...

crikey..

so has he packed in any involvement with TVR then?

I thought he was a very cool chap when i saw him interviewed.. It was like the old chap who ran the local garage with his dog running around..

Just so happens his garage was called TVR... marvelous!

And Ned (i think thats the dogs name) did he leave TVR too or is he contracted to bite a few more cars on the mould table??

I think he must of been starved for a while judging by the Sagaris!!!!

Sadly, Ned has moved on to a design shop in the sky....

Surely it was the foam mold he kept (allegedgly) eating and not fibreglass?

Still, I guess poly-eurethro-wotsit is still toxic!

good point..
(yes this topic has gone a bit daft!)

And being foam as soon as Ned had a drink he would become the size of a great dane!!!

Judging by the Sagaris i wonder if Ned has been replaced by an Alligator or maybe Janet Street-Porter!!

Good luck to the ol boy.. I recon he should get an award for his contribution to motoring..

What would the country be like without the Chimaera, Griffith, S series, Wedge, Cerbera, Tuscan etc etc...

I Make Fire99 Right. Looking @ the Jags etc, life would have been dull without PWs involvement in English Car Manufacturing.

Peter Wheeler is sound! Met him at Donnington 4 years ago after i had just purchased my Chimaera. I think i said "I've just bought a Chimaera and it makes me laugh" He laughed! Also saw him at Motorshows and Snetterton on a quad and at Le Mans when he came over to Houx Annexe with the drivers. Love his Green Cerbera. I think an Aston Martin would suit him especially DB9 or a Bentley Continental GT or Continental T.
How cool to run TVR and also race TVR Tuscans.
