Shpock - any good?
Discussion
Got some big items to sell (double bed, CD storage, furniture items) and Shpock would seem to be ideal (local, no fees, seems simple).
I'm thinking it *should* be fairly hassle free - person comes, gives me cash, I check cash with a pen if feeling very paranoid, person takes it away (or doesn't if they decide it's no good for some reason).
Any good/bad experiences welcome? I have hardly ever used ebay for selling as so much potential for dodginess and also the fees...

I advertised a bunch of stuff last year on both Shpock and Gumtree concurrently. Everything was sold via gumtree, which was also where the vast majority of enquiries came from.
Shpock's audience share may have increased over the last 10 months though so, still worth advertising on both I would think.

I used Shpock at the end of last year.
The things i had for sale were single bed with mattress, BBQ and almost every item got a bit of around half what i asked. Buyers can just stick a price and send it so don't actually 'talk' to you, just an offer.
I ended up selling it all on facebook market place without any problems.
