Ferrari Rally Royal Mile Edinburgh

I expect there's a thread about this rally somewhere, but I haven't found it.

Weird decision to try to drive down the Royal Mile during the Edinburgh Festival, in the middle of the afternoon...

Yes it was... I was at the back of the convoy. Took 45 mins to get from Holyrood to the North Bridge.

AFAIK other 70th dealer event parades had motorcycle outriders, or at least someone to block the traffic/favour the parade. No such luck here, and I believe the Dino overheated or came close to it anyway.

IMO if they couldn't get the sideroads closed for the parade, they should have had it somewhere else. Having it up the Royal Mile, at rush hour, when the Festival is on was a bit daft IMO.

Perfect weather though, it's the first time I've spent a week at EdFest without getting rained on.

Highlights for me were Ed Gamble, Mae Martin, Matt Forde and Geoff Norcott.
