Thinking of flogging some kit...
Discussion
I'm off up to the Highlands tomorrow, and have some kit up there that I'm thinking of flogging. Before I advertise on PH classifieds (or E Bay), I thought I'd let you kind folks know first.
I haven't checked out prices yet, (probably worth sod all
) but e mail me if you're interested in any of:
* Hassleblad X Pan panoramic 35mm (ver 1) with 45 mm lens. Good condition, perfect working order, boxed.
FYI - Most of this lot taken with it:
www.stevecarter.com/panoramics/panoramics.htm
* Nikkor 20-35 2.8D (the dogs bits for landscapes when it came out in the late 90's) good condition, lens perfect, a few small marks on the casing. No box but Nikon soft case. (been using this lens on my D1X for all my landscape shots, but now have the new 17-55 fixed to the D2X) ...so it's a bit redundant (and is keen to be used). LENS NOW SOLD
FYI - This lot taken with it: www.stevecarter.com/newgallery/p2.htm
Also thinking about offloading the D1X body - Not sure about this yet, depends how much use it gets now I have the D2X. It's in OK condition (used a lot - but works perfectly) - boxed.
If you think you may be interested in any of these (price dependant of course), e mail me and I'll get back to you next week. First come first served - then classifieds beckon.

BTW - sorry Ted, I'll put 'em on your classified section if this shower don't want them.

... the D1X body ...

BUT
I have been watching how things go on Ebay recently.
There were a couple of D100's which went for reasonable prices. Most decent lenses are going well too. (60mm micros - one just under £200, and another is hovvering at a similar level even though it's not a "D") However, those on the verge of exotica (300mm F2.8) haven't made reserves. Not too surprising really.
Anyway, Ebay might prove a good arena for the D1X .....
You could also try Nikonians.
Just a thought.
