Audi a6 very low idle

Yesterday my 2004 audi a6 Quattro 3.2 S line all of a sudden started idling very low almost at 100 once warm. No shudder still smooth but idles so low and there is hesitation when I go from stand stop and accelerate. Fine at speed???????help

You can do simple things like cleaning the throttle body, checking for vacuum leaks, make sure air filter is clean etc.

Unfortunately without anything to go on you'd just be throwing parts at the car. Idle issues can be caused by any number of things from a simple temperature sensor all the way through to a duff timing chain. A proper diagnosis is probably the cheapest solution.

Thabks Dr G . The epc light has been on for a couple days now too so I'm guessing sensor but I'll have to get it plugged in and checked I guess. Yay can't wait to spend money 😂
