Arval Car Leasing
Discussion
I returned a leased Seat Leon to Arval just a few weeks ago. I thought they were pretty reasonable and efficient.
If you ring the account management team (01793887000) they'll send through a guide with what they'll charge for (Not the amounts, but "Scratches over xxMM etc) which will help set your expectations. I can't remember the amount (Maybe ask on the phone, might have seen it on the guide) but the first £xxx of damage isn't chargeable either (Don't get too excited, its £150 or something like that)
The actual prices they charge seem fair and they don't seem to be putting much if any margin at all on cost price.
Top tip: Be really friendly with the inspector, worked a treat for me - he was notably more lenient than the terms and conditions required.
I've posted my invoice here so you can get a feel for charges.

You might think the carpet charge was a bit much - but he deliberately didn't charge for the big hole in the middle of it which would have meant replacing a £120 part... Like I said, offer them a drink and be really friendly.

A little bit more of advice...
Especially when you get the guide through, check your car very closely, very very closely. I didn't even know about the hole in the corner of the carpet or the mark on the bumper!
This overspray sounds a bit dodgy, hard to know how bad without seeing it. I'd look into that ASAP, they WILL pick it up. I can pretty much guarantee it. They guy spent literally 20 minutes looking at the exterior of my car.

Sorry delay in replying..
So the overspray was just down the inside of each door pillar i had removed all other over spray with a claybar previously but didn't notice these bits. It did not detract from the value of the car though imo and the panel certainly didn't need repairing. Anyway long story short there was no charge as it was below the threshold so im glad i spent the money getting the car repaired prior which was about 4 panels and a bumper.
