I'm off to Iceland later this month and would really appreciate some advice as to which lenses to take. I like to travel light but don't want to be caught out by not having the right gear. Itinerary is a 9 day loop around the main coastal road, with wife and kids. Subject matter will be scenery and family shots. 're gear I have a Fuji XT-2 and the following lenses:
35mm 1.4 and 56mm 1.2 primes
10-24mm, 18-55mm and 55-200mm zooms.

I also have a Sony RX100mk3 but that will stay home unless there's a compelling reason to take it.

Thanks!

I'd take all of the Fuji gear, that can't be that big a bag even if you did.

Maybe leave the 18-55 if you have to, as you seem to have that covered by "nicer" prime lenses.

How do you find the 55-200? I'm quite tempted to get one myself.

Take the Sony or buy another Fuji body as a backup, you would be very disappointed if you dropped your X-Pro2 on day 1 and had no camera.

Personally I'd consider an X-E2, especially as I have one for sale......

Regarding lenses, I'd take the lot, but I suspect you are most likely to use the 10-24 most, the 56F1.2 you will probably use the least, especially as you have the 55mm Focal Length in two other lenses, but if you shoot low level light portraits you will use it more.

It's tricky to offer advice as it's all very personal.

If I were doing it I'd definitely want the 18-55, just to keep on the camera for unplanned stuff. I'm not a huge fan of ultra wides but Iceland seems to be a good place to use them (especially aurora stuff) so I'd certainly want the 10-24 with me. Long zoom is always handy and personally I love using a long lens for landscape stuff so that would be a must for me. I don't think I'd bother with both primes. I'd probably take the 56 if you need a prime at all (I love primes but you might not need it). I was never a huge fan of the Fuji 35mm and not a massive fan 50mm equiv lenses in general but as I say, personal preference.

I'd take all of the lenses, but just as important I'd e taking the optional Vertical Power Booster Grip for the extra battery power: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fujifilm-X-T2-Vertical-Po...

Just back from Iceland - don't have any practical advice as I only used my RX100V5 all week but just wanted to say I hope you have a great time!

Oh and forgot to add - I took my DJI Spark and apart from being petrified to use it in public I was surprised to see two things...

1. Lots of signs saying DRONES ARE FORBIDDEN
2. Lots of drones!

Nothing could beat this sign though...

Thanks for all the advice, much appreciated. I'm erring towards just taking the zooms and leaving the primes at home, though may slip in the 35mm.

I've only just got this lens - bought it as I'm headed to Monza in September for the GP - so I haven't had much opportunity to use it. But it's nicely built, sharp and pretty compact.

I was there at the end of May, took a rucksack with 7D, 15-85, 55-250 and 10-18. Did a road trip to the iceburg lagoon on the south east coast and hiked up to the top of the Fimmvordhals trail (only to find out later that it was still closed as too dangerous rolleyeslaugh ) didn't change out the 15-85 once, partly because the weather was so bad (rained every day apart from the trail day) and partly because the 15-85 is so versatile.

Hope the weather is kinder to you, it's an amazing place (apart from Reykavik)!
