Tudor Big block 79190
Discussion
Just bought this and I'm chuffed with it:
Edited, I mean 79180....
It's a 1994 but in great condition. The poor man's daytona etc
I like the style and feel, and that it's a little different.
Not used to older watches, my first automatic watch was the Tudor North flag which has been good, albeit somewhat abused!

The last big block I owned was a 1966 Plymouth....

I looked at two, one had the black bezel, but I was more taken by this one with the steel bezel.
I love the way it looks quite impressive but in a fairly unfussy and refined way.
Not sure I'd ever afford a Daytona, but as you say, this is lovely in it's own right.
The movement is pretty vanilla ETA 7750 or something like that, but I'm not all that fussed. I'm glad it's got the date function too.
I've always wondered why people who like cars often collect watches, but now maybe I'm starting to be a bit of a convert!
