Looking for a spacious Automatic - £3.5k max
Discussion
Howdy!
Within a couple of weeks I shall be having an operation to piece back together the remnants of What you all call a knee. During the consultation the DR recommended in the strongest way that I should sell my manual car and buy an automatic.
So what do you guys recommend?
I was looking for an estate/mpv/suv or anything of that ilk. I have a wife and 2 kids (ones 2, the other 12 weeks) so something with enough boot space for pushchair and shopping. The petrol head in me wants some speed too! Cheap and massively reliable obvious too!
I know it's a lot to ask for all my requirements, so anything close will be appreciated.
I have been pointed towards an XC90 T6. What's everyone's thoughts?

You could consider a Merc B class but these are a better drive with good residuals and mpg
