Had to buy some of this as the regular, homogenous stuff was out of stock: Open packet expecting to just peel away the factory calibrated slices of malty goodness and .............no fking chance! It's so sticky and glutinous there's no way they're separating. I ended up slicing it as normal, with all the attendant health and safety issues that implies. Why, just why?

Possibly one of the stickiest substances known to man, it makes you wonder why Nasa used so much Velcro.

Maybe it's to help self-control? As in "I'll only eat three heavily-buttered slices" compared to "oh bks I ate the whole loaf".

I think it's brilliant, as all but the sharpest knife will just flatten the normal unsliced loaf.

I used to eat a bit every day in my packed lunch, until I realised it had almost as much calories as the rest put together. hehe
