I'm in the process of making some centre caps for RL7 wheels but need to know the centre bore if any one can help.

If you can measure them I have the wheels on my car.

Could meet up tomorrow or sometime?

Interesting.

I have a spare set in my garage which I will measure up shortly.

I need a set making up for my vixen. Are you making this up yourself or having them made?

I can't get my adjustable caliper inside the dish to get an accurate measurement but using a tape measure I would say it is pretty much 67 mm externally with a three mm difference on the inside bore which is 70 mm.

Thank you. 67 would make sense given I've measured it in what looks like the most roundest part.

I've made that one but took about 2.30 hours. I'm going to try another one Monday night as should be able to make one quicker. But given how many I need to make i may get them cnc made once I've completed the drawing for it.

Ok measured mine, the centre hole is 67mm, but the centre caps (and my spares) are 66mm with then the extra 1mm being taken up with lumps or indentations so the whole circumference isn't in contact with the wheel, just 4 contact points

Thank you. I'm thinking of machining a grove into it to take an o ring to help keep them in place

Now that would work very wekk. Better than the dimples in the current aluminium

Alternative thinking maybe.

If these fit, obtain a flat finish and pop a TVR top on them.

I have a lovely set of resin moulded badges for TVR centre caps that I obtained from Andrew Gray.

TVR centre caps can also be obtained from Ebay. No idea what the quality is like...

These are just the decorative tops similar to what I have for my Vixen.
