If you think a Minor pick-up at £37k is out of touch, just consider this Edwardian special:
Corbin at threequarters of a MegaEuro!
Amazing what you can find with a quick look through the internet Corbin at threequarters of a MegaEuro!

Lot #661 - this car has been rebuilt as a 1910 corbin race car. using original parts from that era which have been assembled to result in the car you see before you. the t-head engine, gearbox, and radiator with the #44, other original parts were on a locomobile frame. these parts along with a original model 40 frame were assembled according to factory specifications creating this 100 horsepower t-head engine. we can't verify the racing history of this car, but it can be raced in vintage car races and is agile enough to be driven in horseless carriage club tours and rallies. this car won a blue ribbon fro best race car in 1999 at the meadowbrook concours in michigan. here is an opportunity to own a one of a kind race car. an authentically restored gargantuan engine brass era race car.
Can't find what it went for unfortunately but even allowing for inflation, A Bitza wouldn't have been worth a great deal
It's not been in a concours competition, it won a plaque at a Morris Minor rally.
I would have some sympathy for the pricing if I thought this was a loving but misguided long term owner, but the advert makes me think this is someone restoring purely for profit.
It only takes one very wealthy person to take a shine to it I suppose, and then it becomes the new 'Condition 1' price for the model. But no, I can't see it. It's just not desirable enough.
