Good evening all,

Looking at placing an order for the new A4, with the 2.0 TFSI engine (non-Quattro, 190hp guise). There are however some murmurings online that there are huge delays on this engine/that it might even be discontinued and they'll only offer the more expensive 252hp Quattro version, even though my local dealer is saying this isn't the case.

Slightly worried that there is usually no smoke without fire; does anyone here have any firm knowledge on delays with this engine or Audi's plans for it moving forward?

Much appreciated

maybe it won't fire, therefore no smoke.

Apparently VAG were expecting more Tiguans to be derv, and the amount of petrols being ordered has messed things up.

Is this the Audi miller cycle engine versus the "normal" EA888 you get in a GTI?

Interesting but not surprising after the vw diesel issues etc.

I've just sold a 2014 Q3 diesel to order a new GTI PP and although I ordered last month, I still haven't got a build week yet.
