Watched an old episode of "Worlds Most Expensive Cars" last night.
This Iso Grifo, which was expected to sell for around 30k, sold for almost 4 times that.
(Presenter) Ant Anstead said he thought it would take a long time to restore, anyone know what's happened to it, 11 months on?

I've no idea what happened to it, perhaps it's in storage somewhere waiting for the owner to be released once a panel of psychiatrists have decided he is not a danger to himself or others.

We priced that up for a customer. A few observations from the time.........
1) The ONLY redeeming feature was it hadn't been 'got at' previously.
2) The estimate to restore was WELL into six figures.
3) It was the sister RHD car to the one we were restoring at the time (which was at the Goodwood Breakfast Meet a few weekends ago).
4) I reckoned it would sell for circa £80k and advised our customer against paying that for it.
5) It really did need absolutely everything done!

I have no idea who bought it or where it is now but have a vague feeling (unsubstantiated as I really can't remember) that it went to Germany.......
