Please help me identify this car - trick one

Gentlemen,

at the badge I read SEEVI (but I'm not shure and even less if the last letter is an "I")
under the make I can see a cogwheel

I have asked google but without a result!

it's RHD but the picture was taken on the continent, was it a racing car?

Have you got a clearer scan or photo of that area?

Not unusual. Back in the day, a lot of European-produced cars were RHD.

It is!

German car maker Norddeutsche Automobilwerke, which built cars like the Sperber, was swallowed up by Selve after the First World War.

It helps to own a Beaulieu Encyclopedia by Georgano. Expensive but indispensable. Also, have a dekko at www.autopuzzles.com. Stay on there for long enough and you'll learn a lot about the history of the car.

Assuming this is also German, that car has no rear drive, so it's probably a DKW special. Definitely not a catalogued model.

I have been advised by an associate in Germany that this is almost certainly not DKW-based. However, it does seem to be FWD - so what is it?

Could it be based on an Adler Trumpf Junior? The wheels look right. They were assembled in Belgium by Imperia so the location is on the right lines.

Did the Adler have transverse leaf springs?
