"A CYCLIST has been fined for cycling the wrong way on a street in York.

The man was given a £50 fine by a police community support officer yesterday for riding a bike the wrong way up Grosvenor Terrace, off Bootham.

The officer, @Pcso_5458, wrote on Twitter: "Tried to educate first but he wasn't having it !!"

The amount of cyclists i see on the pavement going up pavements the wrong way down one way systems is annoying.

Usually people on single speeds, or the guys who ride an argos spec mountain bike 3 sizes to small for them with flat tyres
