2012 A7 19" S-Line Wheels on 2017 A6 SE?
Discussion
Hi all,
I had a quick search on this, but all the responses were posted a long time ago.
I've got a new A6 Avant SE Exec Ultra 2.0TDI being delivered next month. Being a lease car, its boggo specification with the standard 17" wheels. Looks so much better with 19s on, so I've been looking around for a second hand set that I can refurb etc.
Trouble is, all the ones on eBay (of the correct style) are from A7s, and they appear to have an ET32 offset. I've seen that the proper 19" S-line wheels you can spec from new for the A6 are ET45.
It's only 13mm difference, but as I understand it, the ET32 wheels would sit 13mm closer to the brake rotors than the proper ones? Is this likely to cause a problem, given that the brakes are standard 2.0TDi fayre and not likely to be huge? Or would it look crap because they're 13mm further inboard in the wheel arches? Can I fix this with spacers or does that cause other issues?
Thanks all,
J.
