The Ice detector in my Griff is a little enthusiastic - those 4:30 AM runs to the airport suggest it goes green at around 11 degrees and I've even seen it red a couple of times. Anyone know if this is adjustable?

I think the sensor dangles in the front somewhere and the contacts corrode.

yes, and they always fail in open circuit so telling you its icy when the sun is burning a hole in the tope of your head. A new one costs less than a fiver.

Mine mucks around and flashes red and green at me at random. It was replaced (for the third time, if I remember rightly) at the last service a couple of months back, so is it worth attempting to fix it, or should I just assume they all do that and live with it??

it aint adjustable, is highly inaccurate and prone to corroding.....I threw mine away and joined the wires together to stop it lighting up

Yeah, it's only a couple of bob to replace, but why bother in the first place? If you're not gonna allow any slinky technology to keep the rubber on the floor in poor conditions why are you gonna add disco lights to wind up the driver???
