Corporate PPA's - anyone in the business?

I am exploring PPA's as part of our Energy strategy.
While Corporate PPA's took off and apparently peaked in 2015 the number entered into in 2016 nearly halved world wide - some argue as a result of subsidies disappearing, others suggesting it is due to the fall in energy commodity prices world wide that caused the decline.
Apparently a load of stranded assets and developments to be had and no shortage of PPA specialists wanting to sell us a 15 year PPA at a premium over wholesale prices.
Anyone here able to share knowledge and context - pro and cons?
