I've owned a string of Nixons (frowned upon by purists i know, but what can I say, I'm a snowboarder, 32, basically their prime demographic), but looking for a new watch as I fancy a change.

I don't really have much cash to drop, so want something reliable that i don't mind getting abused. I have fairly slim wrists for a guy, so it can't have a huge face. Don't really like digitals. No huge pref between a metal band or leather/other.

I know it's the cheap end, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Seiko 5 ... Under £100, can come on a stainless steel bracelet and incorporate an automatic movement! Alternatively, Fossil is a good shout.

A Skagen Holst is pretty nice too:

Seiko is a good call. I'd look at G Shock (with hands), Citizen and also have a look at TKMaxx. They have a a Wenger on there for £72 and all sorts of other stuff under £100. If you look at somewhere like Creation Watches your £100 will go further.

For your budget and description of needs I'd go for a Casio G-Shock G-100

Saw this on the other thread, really like this, depending on what style you want of course.
Well under budget as well.

Fossil get a lot of hate around here, but I usually find them especially well made for the money and a definite step up from the DW crap. They also make the Armani watches, but these are usually very similar but at 3x the price. I like the look of that one.

Well, for £50 you can't complain. Looks nice enough as a cheap everydayer. smile

Any idea of the model number/name? I really like that!
