They are just run-of-the-mill 7" head lights and easy to replace. Go for ones with a flat lens though to avoid any chance of them catching on the front lip of the pod.

Output issues are usually caused by poor wiring, poor connections or undersized wires. Or all three.
You can get LED bulbs but they difficult to set up beam pattern on the H4 bulb - ie dipped and main beam patterns. But they do need a lot less power - 30w say. Compared to 55w of an incandescent bulb.
You can get LED units such as trucklite which work great.
Sticking in 100w bulbs isn't going to work if the wiring is poor.
You can get very good incandescent bulbs like Nightbreaker that give better output for the same wattage but still, poor wiring will diminish this.

Think about other road users a minute before fitting million watt search lights. Do you do much night driving on unlit country roads? Our pods move about a bit and the chances of the lights being properly aligned apart from MOT time are remote. There are enough to

ers driving around blinding oncoming drivers already without inadvertently adding to their number.
I'm not suggesting fitting searchlights.

The issue with the H4 LED bulbs - although I think the current gen branded (eg Osram) bulbs have addressed this - is that the beam pattern can be set for dipped then the main is way off and vice versa. They can't be set for both.
Whilst there are certainly some very powerful LED bulbs out there - as there are incandescent bulbs - I'm not advocating fitting them.
I have fitted LED bulbs that although brighter than standard incandescent bulbs are not devastatingly so. Sorting out the light pods and beam patterns is the best we can do on the Wedges.
Even with normal bulbs, the pods are still going to move about 'blinding' people.
The Trucklite lamp units I have are a good upgrade. A nice increase in performance but not searchlight levels of output.
Let's not forget the added safety for us seeing more of the road at night.

But the lower intensity "normal" halogen bulbs are less blinding than the high intensity ones meaning the oncoming driver's eyes can adjust more easily......

And you'll have a nice clear view of him as he clouts your offside wing
What I'd like to know is how so many modern cars seem to be able to drive out of the showroom with lights which have such a high dip cut off. This applies especially 4X4's. I'm often followed by 4X4's who's dipped beam extends beyond the light pool of my dipped lights, so I end up driving in my own shadow.
