On Friday evenings throughout the summer Poole Quay is closed between 6-8pm to all traffic except a nominated make or model of car. Tonight is TVR night. More info on Poole town council website..

Without direct link it's impossible to find anything... Can you link to the page?

I'm planning on heading down there later, at least the sun is shining now. Hopefully it will stay that way

If you can't find the quay for your car you could try your local locksmith, he might be able to cut a new one.

Poole Quay has been ruined by council policy. It's a dross compared to how it used to be.

The local food kiosks have all closed down apart from 2 when I was there in the summer. Which means you have to buy pub food. The kiosks were fantastic but rates and rents have closed them. When I lived there the place had a lot of things going for it but now I just visit to look at the boats and harbour views. The pubs have been gutted to suit modern times. I doubt I'll return to live there.
