Hi i am looking to purchase the above watch but struggling to find any dealers that sell this model on 0% finance. Dont really fancy ploughing 6k into a watch off the bat as funds can be better used elsewhere. Does anyone know of any dealerships that offer this on this model at all? tried the usuals like Goldsmiths and WOS but no joy. thanks in advance

Buy it on a credit card with 0% interest. Simples.

If you cant get approved for a 0% credit card, don't buy a Rolex.

I think you may struggle, as far as im aware no official dealer is allowed to offer 0% finance as this would be classed as an offer, and i would of thought it unlikely that a grey importer would either as they can sell them so easily.

I would suggest as above look for a long term 0% credit card and use this instead.

If you cannot fit the profile of wearing a watch like this, then just don't.

You could get 0% over 100 years, but everyone you know will think it's fake. FYI they have have become almost indistinguishable from the real deal now.

Thing is you don't really buy a watch for "everyone you know". You buy it for YOU.

Sweet jebus what on earth are you on about. if you like something and can afford it, whether to buy outright or you can afford the monthly payments, then buy it. Who worries about whether people will think its real or not ends up not getting what they want.

Im not going to prove this as i have no need but by chance i am wearing my sub at the moment and have shorts and a t-shirt on, if you saw me you would presumably think it fake.

Thewatchsource.co.uk offer 12 months 0% finance, but their price is over RRP.

Are these not waiting list models in most places?

As a financial adviser, I have to say the OP is entirely correct to use 0% finance rather than cashing in money-making investments in order to buy.

It's always best to keep capital safe and make money with it while the retailer loses it.

However, you may find the AD will not offer any discount on RRP if also offering 0% finance. In this case you have to do the maths as to which deal is better.

Over the last month I found one branch of Goldsmiths (Leicester) who said over the telephone, against their web-site info, that they do NOT offer 0% on Rolex. But visiting Goldsmiths in the Bull Ring, Birmingham, they did offer 0% on my wife's new DJ 178343.

We eventually bought from a different AD who also offered 0% finance on Rolex. I see no reason they wouldn't do the same on a Sub, but ADs do have some strange "rules".

Shop around.

Watches of Switzerland advertise 0% finance, not sure if it applies to Rolex too though.

How do you keep capital safe and make money with it without keeping it in an FCS protected bank account paying less than inflation?

Everyone on Pistonheads has a special investment strategy that yields them 5% minimum. It's why they all drive leased BMWs - not because they can't afford one, but because the money is working elsewhere in mysterious money making ways. smile

Sadly I didn't get the memo revealing the strategy either...

Why on earth would wearing shorts and tee shirt indicate your Rolex is a fake..? rofl

Do you imagine that most Rolex wearers put a suit on in order to dress up for their watch? biggrin

I liked your answer better.

OP hasn't been back. Worst 'I'm going to buy a Rolex' thread ever.

I stuck mine on 0% for 6 months at watchfinder.

I'd rather keep the money in the bank tbh.
